Two years ago, Spanish Immigration barred every single Brazilian going through the airports, upon flight arrivals. It didn’t matter whether they were tourists, students or youngsters searching for a better life. They stuffed them all in an airless little room for days until they were put on a flight back.

This reverberated burstingly bad in Brazilian media. TV-news, newspapers, internet showed interviews with the expelled people, reporting all kinds of bad treatment. We clearly realised where the cruel South-American dictatorships derived from. For fear of losing their trips, Brazilian tourists stopped visiting Madrid. Brazilians have been travelling a lot, shopping a lot, as well. Summer vacations in Brazil are in December, January and February. Sao Paulo has around five thousand street-clocks. This Summer, Madrid Tourism Bureaux advertised the city’s attractions on absolutely ALL street-clocks! Everybody knows Spain was hugely swept by the crisis. Tourism is one of their main source of income: about 7 million tourists arrive in Madrid every year. As far as I can see, Brazilians did not get convinced by the ads. My opinion is that Madrid can go to hell for all I care!

Refined, industrialized soya oil

“(…)Even non-hydrogenated vegetable oils that are mass produced and heavily refined are not healthy choices. These oils are extracted under extremely high temperature and pressure using toxic solvents and bleaching aids in the extraction process. This process creates highly toxic oils full of free radicals that are then sold as cheap cooking oils or used in processed foods. Most vegetable oils you see on the supermarket shelves are processed in this highly toxic manner unless you see the words “unrefined”, “virgin”, or “extra virgin” on the label. These already toxic refined oils are made even worse when they are hydrogenated. In hydrogenation, the already toxic oils have a metal catalyst added to them and are again treated under high pressure and high temperature, and then steam cleaned and bleached. Now does that sound like something you should put in your body in even small quantities? Well, if you eat processed food, or fried restaurant food, you’re putting it in your body in huge quantities!
